Dead Rising 2 Review

Dead Rising 2 Review

Thats a lot of zombies in a day , and it is a bloody game.

Mini Rocket Pod
Dead Rising 2, the latest release from Capcom didn't relate much from Dead Rising 1, but for zombie killers out there, this might be the game of choice beside those scary Left4Dead series. One of the interesting edge of Dead Rising 2 is the ability to build your own weapons. Not all items can be combined though, but there is a pretty large weapon combination options  out there. The game started with antagonist Chuck with his daughter trapped inside a Las Vegas style theme park. The story then develop as his daughter got infected and they seek shelter in a bunker with others. Chuck has to go through swarms of zombies to find ZOMBREX, a drug for his infected daughter. Along the way, he will help survivors and leads them to the bunker. Since I dont want to spoil the fun, but here is some interesting screenshots.

Cute Katey. Daughter of Chuck
A typical gameplay would takes 2 to 3 days for casual gamers, but for hardcore or advanced users, the game can end in a day.

Dolphin riding included
WARNING: This is NOT a scary zombie game.

A bloody game indeed.
Verdict?
A bloody hell of a zombie game with an interesting weapon system.
